The event is a charity program to raise funds for 'Cancer Council NSW' under the 'Australian Biggest Morning Tea' program. This event runs and is mostly participated by Australian-Bangladeshi community members living in Sydney, and hence it is called 'Good Morning Bangladesh.'

The community has been organising 'Good Morning Bangladesh' event over the last 24 years and has raised over $432k. Nevertheless, this event strengthens the bonding among community members living in Sydney. It encourages youth and young families to extend their assistance for charity and community development in their daily life.
